Twenty minutes, and the right tower
Hilton Waikoloa Village is nineteen miles north of KOA, twenty to twenty five minutes direct. The property spans three towers connected by a tram and a canal boat, so the drop point matters more here than anywhere else on the coast. Send your tower or building and we deliver you to the correct lobby instead of the main entrance with a luggage cart and a long walk.
Why not the shared shuttle
Shared vans wait to fill and then run the resort loop. At Waikoloa that regularly turns twenty five minutes into an hour, and it usually happens on the tail end of a five hour flight with tired kids. A private transfer is the vehicle, the time, and the drop point you actually chose.
Families
This is the most family heavy property on the coast. Child seats at no charge, stroller and pack and play space, and a chauffeur who is not in a hurry while you get everyone loaded. Grocery stops at Island Gourmet or Foodland on the way in are common and easy.
Getting out at night
Kings Shops and Queens MarketPlace are walkable from parts of the resort but the coast is not. Evening runs to Kailua-Kona, Merriman's, or another resort for dinner are the standard requests, and rideshare here after 9pm is a gamble we would not take with a dinner reservation.
