Where the resort sits
Four Seasons Hualalai occupies Kaupulehu, about eight miles north of Kona International Airport on the 1801 Hualalai lava flow. It is the closest luxury resort to KOA and the most removed from town, a combination that makes reserved transport the natural default. Fifteen minutes from the arrivals lanai to the gate, and about twenty minutes back down to dinner in Kailua-Kona.
How we work with the property
Unmarked black vehicle, uniformed chauffeur, no signage and no sales pitch. Guest names go to the Kaupulehu gate ahead of arrival so entry is clean. For the Hualalai Resort private residences we coordinate with residence managers and villa staff, including gate codes and key handoffs when a guest is arriving late.
What guests use us for
Airport arrivals and departures first, then dinner in Kailua-Kona and Holualoa, the Kohala Coast resorts to the north, coffee farm and Holualoa gallery afternoons, and full day chauffeured trips to Volcanoes National Park or the Mauna Kea summit. Hourly service is the usual choice when the day has more than one stop.
